Before I proceed, I want to specially thank the #BankOnMoms! For creating this great avenue to publicly appreciate mothers. Thank you so much GTBank.

My Mother is the Best GIFT GOD gave to me and my Siblings (we are 4: 2 girls/2 boys), because without her life wouldn’t have been easy for us. She is everything to us. And we will always love and appreciate her. Our prayer every day is for God to keep her alive for us so that she will reap the fruits of her labour. The story of my Mother is a very touching one. My father died when I was only 3 Months old. I never knew my him and I can’t tell what it feels like to have a Father. I only know My Mother and I received every care a child could get from Parents from my mother alone. My Mother is a petty trader in the village till this day. She moves from one village Market to another to sell her goods (She sells stockfish). And as a Widow, to feed us was a great challenge. But My Mother always made sure we her children ate and looked healthy always. Often times my Mother would starve just for us to eat. O God, please bless My Mother and Keep her for me! Nnenne (as I fondly call you), you will not die now. God will give you long life for you to rejoice and enjoy the fruits of your labour, Amen!

My Mother continues to take good care of us spiritually, morally and otherwise. I remember when I was very sick at the age of 8; my Mother stood by me and did her best to nurse me back to health. She fasted and prayed always to seek God’s face and intervention in my case. (I wonder where I would have been by now if not for my Mother). She is God Sent to me and My Siblings.
