Digital Skills Training Seminar 2017 is here for SME owners

If your business is not online, you are not in business.

Technology and digital marketing is highly essential in the new era of business, especially for Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SME). This is why GTBank is keen on promoting enterprise by providing SMEs with the requisite digital skills needed to help them grow their business and expand into new markets.

In collaboration with Facebook, the Digital Skills Training Seminar 2017 is majorly for Small Business owners and aimed at enriching them with digital teachings and tips that are relevant to growing their business online.

Facebook, no doubt, is one of the strongest platforms where business owners advertise, therefore, knows the best strategies that have helped big brands grow from scratch to hatch. The 5 day digital training holds in Lagos Nigeria and kicks off on Monday, 21st August, running through to Friday, 25th August, 2017.

On the first day of the training, we met several SME owners who shared their interesting stories. Olumide Yusuf, who deals with snail processing and packaging, started with distributing his products to banks and later went online where he made provision for same day deliveries on orders. Olumide values the worth of online sales and continues to emphasize its relevance to the growth of his business.

Modupe on the other hand, is an IT specialist attending the training all the way from Benin. He is yet to take his business online and hopes to do so with the teachings and tips he would gather from this year’s Digital Skills Training Seminar.

As for Godfrey Ishima, who owns a travel and tours agency, he is interested in expanding his brand presence online. In his words “if your business is not online, you’re not in business.” #SMEstories #MyNigerianHustle.
