Traditionally, when people shop for children, they buy blue clothes for the boys and pink for the girls. Why is it so? Is there a law that restricts boys from wearing pink? Or a bill that says pink is for girls and blue is for guys?
Boys grew up getting used to having blue shirts, blue toys, blue back pack, blue everything. Even when a boy asks for something pink, he gets turned down with that look ‘are you a girl’? This age long tradition has gradually come to stay. Notwithstanding, pink is an amazing color that looks good on any gender.

When men wear pink, they appear flashy and can be easily noticed. This is why some men stay away from pink, and simply leave the fashionable ones to explore the color. Pink, which is a derivative of red and white, is the color of universal love of oneself and of others. Pink portrays sweet, playful, cute, romantic, charming, flowers, babies, little girls, cotton candy, sweetness and tenderness – attributes that are obviously a ‘girl thing’. Now you know why most men don’t own lots of pink stuffs.
Why men wear pink:
Simple! It’s just another color on the spectrum. It makes men look dandy and girls love it!
How to wear pink:
A girl can wear all pink and not look odd, but for a guy, this is a no no! Rather than look like an all pink candy, you can rock a one piece pink with other complimentary colors. A lighter shade of the pink goes better with a darker complimentary piece, vice versa. For instance, a baby pink shirt goes well with grey pants, while a fuchsia tie stands out on a white shirt.
Best combos with pink:
