Paul Wayne Gregory

Paul Wayne Gregory is a chocolate expert with over 20 years experience in the catering industry.

Renowned for creating artistic masterpieces using chocolate, Paul started out as a baker and then becoming a main kitchen chef, before finding his “true love” in pastries. He honed his skills in pastries working with Monsieur Jean Valentine, a Grand Master in classic patisserie, after which he worked for world-renowned pastry and chocolate master, Oriol Balaguer. Since then, Paul has dominated the world of chocolates and has earned the audience of many elite clients including the Queen of England, who he made chocolates for, on her 80th birthday.

On Sunday, April 28th 2019, Paul will be at the GTBank Food and Drink Festival, to share with his audience The Confection of a Chocolate Connoisseur.

Kinorah Awini

Kinorah Awini, is a Ghanaian-based African food connoisseur, food blogger and founder of  Telande World, a culinary company which means “Eat with Me”.

Kinorah’s love for cooking started at an early age, when she spent a great deal of time watching her father, who was a cook, and her mother, who was the family’s food critic. Since then, Kinorah has solidified her name as a champion of African ingredients, using them to create exciting new recipes.

Kinorah will be at the GTBank Food and Drink Festival on Tuesday, April 30th 2019, to speak on Creating Evergreen Content for Food.

Luke Whearty

Luke Whearty is bar operator, restaurant innovator and drink creator with over a decade of experience presiding over some of the most progressive drinking programs.

A serial entrepreneur in the food and drink industry, Luke cut his teeth as head bartender at the internationally acclaimed Der Raum, where he won several Australian Bartender Awards. After his stint at Der Raum, Luke made the move to South East Asia where he worked alongside Chef Ryan Clift at the highly acclaimed Tippling Club. Luke is also the founder of BYRDI, a bottled cocktail brand sold in major bars and restaurants around the world.  

Luke will be at the GTBank Food and Drink Festival on Sunday, April 28th 2019, to lead a discussion on What Grows Together Goes Together….A lesson from Mother Nature.

Chef Cristian Duhalde

Chef Cristian Duhalde is the owner and creative director of La Taverna, an esoteric Latin America and Spanish restaurant, based in Lagos, Nigeria. The restaurant is famous for offering the ‘Best Pizza in Lagos’. 

In 2008, Chef Duhalde moved to Nigeria to begin another chapter in his career, working at the prestigious restaurant ‘Villa Medici and la Scala’, and holding private dinners at many landmark locations including the presidential villa, Aso Rock. In 2013, Chef Duhalde opened his restaurant, La Taverna, with specificity in Latin America and Spanish cuisine. Since it’s opening, the restaurant has gained popularity among food lovers and has expanded its reach to Abuja, Nigeria. 

Chef Duhalde will be at the GTBank Food and Drink Festival on Monday, April 29th 2019, to discuss Tasting your way to Latin America.
