1. iPhone 4 Diamond Rose Edition –  $8 Million

The new iPhone 4 Diamond Rose Edition is the most expensive customized iPhone ever. The luxurious iPhone 4 features a bezel handmade from rose with around 500 individual flawless diamonds. The back section of this iPhone was made from rose gold and it features 53 embedded diamonds on a special rose gold Apple logo.

2. Supreme Goldstriker iPhone 3G – $3.2 Million

Another iPhone graces the second spot of the most expensive mobile phone. Created and designed by Stuart Hughes, this high-end jewelry phone is encrusted with 136 F perfect diamonds, 271 grams of 22 carat solid. A 7.1 carat diamond is set on its home button to finish the expensive look. To top it all, this expensive jewelry phone flaunts a rare Kashmir gold and its inner lining is designed with nubuck top-grain animal skin.

3. iPhone 3G King’s Button – $2.4 Million

Apple iPhone is in itself an expensive mobile phone, put in a fair amount of luxury diamonds and we have iPhone 3G King’s button. Peter Aloisson created this dazzling phone with a price tag of $2.4 Million. It is made of solid 18-carat yellow, white and rose gold all covered with 138 brilliant cut diamonds. Its home button is designed with 6.6 carats white diamond for a luxurious and splendid finish.

4. GoldVish Le Million – $1.3 Million

The Le Million may be the most over the top looking phone on the list. The entire thing (with the exception of the screen) is made of 18 karat white gold. You won’t even see most of the gold except for the buttons because the phone is covered in 120 karat diamonds. There is actually a fair exclusively for millionaires where lavish items are bought and sold by vendors. This was the most expensive phone transaction at this fair and it happened in 2006. A Russian businessman laid his eyes on this phone and knew that he just had to have it.

5. Diamond Crypto Smartphone – $1.3 Million

Priding itself on “powerful encryption technology”, the Diamond Crypto Smartphone was developed by Russian firm JSC Ancort in 2006 to “provide secure protection of information against kidnapping, technological blackmail, financial racketeers and corrupted state officials”. As a bonus, the phone includes 50 diamonds around its façade.

6. Luxor Las Vegas Jackpot – $1 Million

GoldVish’s Le Million Piece Unique isn’t the only mobile phone with a seven digit price tag out there anymore. It has just been joined by the Gresso Luxor Las Vegas Jackpot, which matches its price tag of 1 million US dollars. The phone features 45.5 carats of black diamonds decorating the bezel and a back panel made from 200-year-old African blackwood. All of these luxurious materials are set in a 180-gram solid gold frame.

7. Vertu Signature Cobra – $310,000

The Vertu Signature Cobra may be one of the most unique looking phones on the list. With only eight produced in the entire world, there is a snake that wraps itself around the front edge. You may be thinking, that sounds neat and all but how could a snake phone possibly cost that much money? Well the snake is not just some plastic one, it is made from a pear cut diamond and for some odd reason wears a white diamond earring. The eyes are also made from small emeralds and there are nearly 500 rubies on the body of the snake.

8. VIPN Black Diamond Smartphone – $300,000

The Black diamond is designed by Jaren Goh. It is a very rare mobile indeed. Only five were made by the Swiss Company  VIPN for Sony Ericsson. The Black Diamond is not the fanciest looking phone on the list, but the phone is still the eighth priciest in the world. There are only two diamonds on this one, with a larger one on the back and a smaller one on the stick up front.

Remember those navigation sticks? The ones that we used to use on our Blackberry phones before we all made the switch to Apple or Android? Those are still used on the Black Diamond, and it is still more expensive than common phones. The largest selling point would be the fancy mirror that is essentially indestructible.

9. iPhone Princess Plus – $176,400

iPhone Princess Plus has a feature that is not much different from other Apple iPhone mobile phone, which makes this into the top 10 most expensive mobile phones in the world. This iPhone is designed by famous designer Austria, Peter Aloisson. Beside the gold, this special iPhone flavour comes with no less than 138 princess cut and 180 brilliant cut diamonds with a weight of 16.50 – 17.75. And according to Peter Aloisson, the diamonds have the best quality, so owning such a device is quite a remarkable thing.
