Apple Inc. is expected to launch a new cool iPhone model this year, as always! Which means everyone who currently owns the iPhone 7 will be considered old school. (Oh, the terror!).
New reports leaked out of Japan claim that work on the 10th-anniversary iPhone is underway and the phone will be launched this year alongside iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus models.
Apple, they say, might launch a 5.8-inch flagship handset with edge-to-edge OLED display in September. It is said that the phone will feature a long-distance wireless charging, an edge-to-edge OLED display, and a “revolutionary” front-facing 3D camera.
Here are the top three iPhone 8 rumors we found:
- Wireless Charging
Rumors suggest that the iPhone 8 would feature the long-distance wireless charging technology. Business Insider reported that Apple is building some components of the next iPhone in Israel.
- Curved OLED Display
The 10th anniversary iPhone is rumoured to feature an edge-to-edge OLED display with glass back. This will definitely make the biggest of Samsung fans grin with envy!
- Camera
They also say we might see a better camera in this year’s model.
According to an Apple analyst, this year’s iPhone 8 would feature optical image stabilization for both the wide-angle and telephoto lenses.
We might also see the iPhone 8 sporting a 3D camera.
Oh, no doubt, the iPhone 8 would be an expensive handset. According to the reports, the premium smartphone is said to get a hefty price tag of $1,000.
