The sophomore edition of the much anticipated fashion event, which is aimed at promoting enterprise in the African fashion industry, features a retail exhibition from different fashion houses, showcasing a variety of Africa’s finest styles and trends by local and intentional designers.
The GTBank Fashion Weekend is scheduled to hold on the 11th and 12th, of November, 2017, and welcomes fashion enthusiasts to an ultimate shopping experience of a diverse range of carefully curated, affordable and luxury apparel, footwear, accessories, beauty items, indigenous fabric and accessories. Satisfaction is what you get when you keep your money right where you can see it: hanging in your closet. How about making a stop at the event?
Each day of the Weekend will end with a runway show, exhibited by sleek dazzling models, who have been carefully selected from Rwanda, Ethiopia, Tanzania and Nigeria.
World class designers, media and fashion professionals and the selected team will be working together to enthrall the audience with a series of master classes, runway shows and retail exhibitions. With the likes of TV personality and runway coach – J Alexander [best known for his work on Americaís Next Top Model]; renowned makeup artist and entrepreneur, Danessa Myricks; award winning fashion designer, Giles Deacon; Editor in-Chief of Essence Magazine, Vanessa De Luca; Publisher of British Vogue, Vanessa Kingori; multi-talented photographer, TY Bello and Fashion and Style expert, Shiona Turini in the team, the Weekend promises to be a phenomenal experience.
