It’s the countdown to the GTBank Food and Drink Fair – the largest food exhibition out of Africa. There is a lot to look forward to at the event, however, here’s a rundown of seven interesting things to expect at the 3-day event.
It’s a food and drink fair right? So there will be lots of it… like a lot! Get ready to excite your taste buds with different delicacies, from intercontinental to indigenous meals, grills and street foods from a wide range of restaurants and vendors. Interesting Cooking Masterclasses
While others feast, there will be series of masterclasses facilitated by some of the world’s food and drink experts, such as Chef Patron of La Petite Maison, Raphael Duntoye, Food Network Star, Sunny Anderson, Host of Siba’s Table, Sibahle Mtongana, Custodian of Italian Cuisines, Chef Benedict Okuzu, British Chef and TV personality, Lorraine Pascale, Co-owner of Eko Street Eat, Chef Imoteda, Chef Muse, Food Business Expert, Scott Winston, Winner of The Great British Bake Off, Edd Kimber, and Master of Mixology, Tony Conigliaro. The masterclasses are FREE to attend and open to pre-registered participants.
Fresh food is a better option for healthy living and there will be a variety of freshly harvested farm produce at the GTBank Food and Drink Farmer’s Market. You can shop fresh, organic and quality farm produce from the local farmers and agro-preneurs exhibiting outside the arena.
Kitchen Appliances
Maybe your kitchen needs more tools/appliances to give you an easier cooking experience, the 2018 GTBank Food and Drink Fair is the best place to buy them. In partnership with SMEMarkethub, different small businesses dealing on household/kitchen items will exhibit their products at the fair.
Bring your kids along to the event and treat them to a memorable fun experience at the Children’s Play Arena. There will be toys, playpens and, games to keep them busy while you explore the event to the fullest.
Just so you know, the entire city of Lagos and beyond will be at the event, so prepare yourself to meet a lot of people from different walks of life. Also, bear in mind that the event is a good platform to meet other food lovers, make new friends and network with other business minds – come with your complimentary cards.
