It was a colourful experience at the Art635 Artists Workshop, which held on Saturday 25th, November, 2017. Over 50 young artists were in attendance and each of them had a wow encounter interacting, learning and painting.
The event kicked off with breakfast and then the trainings by the various speakers commenced. Majority of the painters in attendance were students who were still sharpening their skills and so they needed guidance on the best way to market their craft to the world.
From, “Creating Art Relevant to the Public”, to “Art, Artists & Art Exhibitions”, “The Business of Art”, “Art and Technology”, and “How to Market Your Art Online/ How to get on the SME MarketHub,” each facilitator touch valid points needed to be a successful artist.
After which the artists where given T-shirts to paint on. From masquerade faces to beautiful patterns of various objects, including some abstracts, the artists painted unique figures on their T-shirts in a space of one hour.
They also did a collaborative painting on a graffiti which turned out amazingly beautiful. After which lunch was served and the best T-shirt painter went home with a gift.
